Do you have a house where a mess is made, a drink is spilt, cups are left out or the toilet roll is used and not refilled? Does anybody in your house own up to doing any of these things? A friend of mine asked my two children "Who left an unwashed plate on the table?" and when they both protested their innocence, she exclaimed "Well, Mr Nobody's here!" So this is a story about Mr Nobody. It teaches children that they should tidy up after themselves and be responsible for looking after the house they live in.

"My children laughed during this story because they could certainly identify with the pen on the walls and not owning up to doing it. I love this story because I am so sick of asking my children to put things away and being told 'I didn't do it!' So Mr Nobody certainly lives in our house. Mrs Somebody is me because I end up putting things away! Now when I ask who did something naughty--like who put the glitter glue on my kitchen bench, my children say 'Mr Nobody'." Alice, Wilston QLD
